This hand model came evolved from the combination of the two material models. The two white wavy blocks is following the form of a pathway created by the idea of the wires separating the two. The four blocks on the left came from the brick wall model extruded and elevated at different heights and levels.

This is a screen shot of different pathways ideas. On the third one i stated playing with pathway levels with would connect later to the other side of the site. 

Study Models

Typology- the first model on the left was made to represent the combination of the studio on one side  and the movie theater on the other. The second model came from the idea of movie film warping around the bridge.   

 Materials- the first model on the left was the idea of steel wiring warping and penetrating though a brick wall. The second model came from the thought of rocks and sand on a lager scale compared to how they actually are in real life. Rocks forming a shelter in its self.

Connection- first model is the earth and lighting coming together. The second is the waves from the wifi logo being offseted forming a maze.

Collages: Typology, Connection, Materials,

This is my building Typology collage. My building is a theater with its own built in studio, the theater is represented by the popcorn, theater chairs, and tickets. As for the studio section, this is represented by the studio lights, clipping board, and the film roll. In addition to my building typology one of the main views would be the Brooklyn Bridge.

Connection could be viewed as many things. When I think of connection I see it as the everyone in the world connecting on a communication level. One of the main ways we communicate its though wireless internet connection. The lighting bolts represent electricity which is an important source, powering up the world.  

Some of the materials seen on the way to the sites were twisted steel rods from the bridge, wood from the benches, brick from buildings, sand and rock from the shore.
